In the last 2 weeks something amazing happened.
Hundreds of players around the country started playing Swords!
I’ve been imagining this game for years, and the tech has caught up to make it possible.
Now people are exploring their neighborhoods, fighting monsters, and begging me to tell them the secret:
Where is the treasure?
The game kicked off Saturday, September 23rd and since then, hundreds of players have already started their journey in search for the hidden treasure.
Ever since the game started, we’ve been receiving plenty of passionate comments from the players.
“Can you give me a hint?”
“The kids are begging me to go out questing before school!”
“We’re moving at an unsustainable pace!”
Swords’ story line has been taking them to new and exciting places, and the players are loving it!
The Finder of the Treasure
Within a matter of about 6 days, one player, K33N was so fast and furious, he slew the boss, finished the quest and found it:
If you haven’t started the quest, now is the time. There will be more treasure drops, more campaigns, and more adventure.
There’s still time to join. The game is now available to play on both iOS and Android devices. Why play?
We don’t want any adventurer to go away empty-handed. So there’s another chest hidden with exclusive collectibles for a limited time for everyone who finishes the quest.
Those collectibles will lead you to something even more fun.
Plus, players of this quest will have a head start when the next campaign drops with more treasure… coming soon.
Book of the Week
Introducing Mortalkind: The Heavenly Heist by Alexander Harrington!
The gods are all-knowing.
The gods are perfect.
The gods are immortal.
If only any of it were true. Shameless self-promotion was the only thing the gods were ever any good at. Farrin, former God of Air, knows it better than anyone.
Banished from the heavenly realm of Voltarim and stripped of his divine powers, Farrin has been living rough with the mortals for the last five years. It seems that being a fallen deity doesn't carry as much weight these days as it used to. Sleeping in barns, begging for scraps of food, and hunted like a dog by the vengeful gods back home—Farrin's looking to make some drastic life changes. Immediately.
Two choices lay before Farrin. The first: buckle down and earn an honest living through some good old fashioned hard work and toil.
That one is right out, of course. Hard work and toil are for mortals, not disgraced former gods. Which leaves only one logical alternative:A heist of heaven itself.
Farrin hatches a plot to break back into Voltarim, steal everything that isn't nailed down, and get out alive. Now there's a proper get-rich-quick scheme for him to get behind, with a dash of revenge on the side. A good plan all in all—assuming he doesn't end up on the wrong end of a smiting first.
With the help of two uppity mortals, Farrin prepares to pull off the boldest heist on this side of the afterlife—robbing the very gods who cast him out. The payday of a thousand lifetimes is waiting for him. But should he fail, Farrin will learn exactly what divine punishment really means.
Coming up
Exciting things are coming up soon! We’re partnering with an awesome fantasy book writer, the famous Jeff Wheeler, on a special 10th anniversary edition of The Legends of Muirwood. The trilogy books will come in leather-bound and there will be a lot of cool items that will go along with it. We’ll be officially launching the Kickstarter on October 15th. Stay tuned!
See you in the future,

I recently self-published a book "Beyond The Screen: An Introduction to VR & AR", available on Amazon, very reasonably priced. It covers not just VR and AR gaming, but also the uses of both technologies in other industries like healthcare and construction. You might find it interesting.
