TBH it's been languishing since finishing NaNoWriMo about 4 years ago, so not even really a first draft. About 30000 words into it and it feels like I might have hit the first 3rd of a first book in a series.
Just finished 4th book in a 6 book series of Sci-Fi / Romance epic. Mythology and Real Science blended into a riveting story whose threads span many genres.
I've got a couple that I'm working on here and there.
One is a an adventure about a space archaeologist who gets involved with an alien conspiracy involving a race of religious zealots hunting someone who's dug up ancient secrets that could overturn their entire ideology. It's conceived mostly as a single book with the door wide open for sequels.
The second is a fantasy that's essentially a shared fairy tale world, but with generally darker, more subversive takes on the stories people know. I feel like I've come up with some interesting and unique twists. This one's being plotted out as a trilogy.
A tech noir action thriller. It's Altered Carbon meets The Expanse. Elevator pitch: "Spartacus in Space". First drafts of books 1 and 2 in the saga completed and synopsis for books 3-6.

A utopian fantasy novel in a far distant future. And a non-fiction companion book with essays imagining a more beautiful future. So the book, and it’s research, as two separate tomes.
Adam, difficult to put into a single genre pigeon hole. elements of Adventure/ Alternate History/ Steampunk/Supernatural. Think League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Biggles, Harry Turtledove, Eric Flint. Five books complete, 6th underway, currently 500k plus words in total
Adam, happy to do so, but looking at the submission rules it's way beyond your normal word count at 112k, the next two are also 100k, wont that preclude them from being read.
A young adult sci fi series that zeros in on an alien tribe and an unexpected visitor that falls in with them. (Think John Carter but funnier and more modern).
A story in Earth's future that combines elements of Zelazny's Amber series with McGoohan's The Prisoner, plus a tiny bit of The Expanse
Sounds intriguing. How many words are you at so far?

Stellar! Are you going to publish it?
If I can find a publisher who likes it! I've finished the final draft of the first 30000 words if you want to take a look.
Yes please! Send it over to http://www.futurehousepublishing.com/ and tell them that you found Future House through substack!
I'll do that next week. Thank you, Adam.

That's so meta! Is this one that you've told me about already or something new?
Haha I know! This is the new/current project! The first project was a gothic novel that I serialized via Substack and am publishing on Amazon Aug 1st.
You’re a writer who writes.

I love John Carter. ... so this could be super cool. It's a great fish out of water story.
Thank you Mr. Sidwell! My hope is that the characters will be memorable and endearing.
a magical realism reset tale set in a version of modern England.
a version of modern England... now that is curious and interesting.
I like to think so....
